for Krayat is responsible an international crew gathered and currently situated in Berlin with origins from the Balkans area .. I was familiar with the band from its very beginnings and they were always okay to me, but not much more than that.. after debut album "Ratni Kotač" few silent years follow from them but they returned with a bang just few months ago when this new EP was announced on Autsajder Produkcija and immediately after hearing first two songs from it, I knew - this is it!.. they hit all the right spots in my ears, brain cells and nerves with absolutely everything from the sound, atmosphere, production, format...and now when I get the record I see that labels also did a great job because whole thing looks original and little different than usual..

there are two songs on each side of this 7", music is dark and cold thrashy hardcore punk, with this special atmosphere which I believe only musicians from Balkans (or maybe eastern Europe) can create and execute so well.. the whole thing is like some perfect blend of traditional epic Greek punk from 90s and infamous ex-yu hardcore from 80s, you must admit it's interesting combo, somehow natural but maybe not so common and often among today's bands.. the closest comparison from current active ones could maybe be Ego, also international crew from Berlin, similar atmosphere, bass lines and some other hints but this is still something dirtier and faster..

first song "Kinshtih" is absolute banger and the best song of the records and one of the best punk songs I heard in a while, it's really powerful and contagious.. driving force on this album beside above mentioned atmosphere is definitely vocal which didn't suit well for me on previous release but now he just kill it with those mighty, desperate shouts full of anguish and grief..

lyrics are sung on Bulgarian if I'm not wrong, there are translation of them and short explanations inside the covers and they are dealing mostly with society - from fcked up state of human mind, hypocrisy and false values to sexual abuse, etc.. album title translated means something like "for breakfast paranoia, for dinner what?" and this just perfectly describes mood and the point of the lyrics same as this album in overall..

it is easily visible that something more effort is putted in this record when you hold it in your hands, covers are risographed in colors on both sides and you get screenprinted A3 poster, again in unusual combination of white paper and gold print.. vinyls itself comes in white or regular black version, my is white and it looks and fits the release perfect..

as this was released basically only a month ago, it's of course still available from the labels for 8€ or you'll be able to find it on your favorite distro probably very soon..

with this one, both Krayat and with every release better Autsajder Produkcija (actually sub-label of well known Doomtown Records) took my full attention and I'm looking forward to see/hear some new stuff from them.. also don't forget, Krayat will be on euro tour in November so if they will be at your place don't miss them.. until then, go buy this awesome little piece of plastic or find it online and blast your speakers with some filthy and harsh music for harsh times!..
