Dark Harvest Commandos is new interesting political hardcore punk band from Glasgow, Scotland with the same interesting name.. formed by the crew which were/is active in some legendary groups like for example Quarantine, Thisclose and Disaffect.. their debut release, this self titled EP on 7" vinyl is out and available from Sanctus Propaganda.. fast and simple, although sometimes almost anthemic and catchy hc punk with great female vocalist, leaning somehow more to 80s/90s hardcore sound from UK and Europe than to those classic anarcho-punk which you could expect.. Heresy, L'arm, Raw Power, U.B.R and Ripcord are mentioned as influences so you maybe could get already some picture from that.. go check it on bandcamp and support it if you can..
also don't miss pretty cool live video of their first show ever (when they played together with Vipera from Zagreb, btw) and there's really good interview with them on Sanctus Propaganda where they don't talk just about the band but also discuss political situation in UK and Europe, local diy scene, etc..
