PODRUM 18th anniversary 30.04. - 02.05.2026. @ Podrum, Rijeka (Croatia)

Podrum is my favorite d.i.y. place here, long lasting squatted venue started literally in small basement in Rijeka where bunch of gigs, events, workshops and all kind of radical punx activities were held over almost last two decades, they gradually expanded and developed their premises over all those years and becoming one of the most important independent places on underground d.i.y. hardcore punk map in this part of eu-rope.. these days Podrum is becoming an adult, turning 18th years of existence so the crew is preparing an hell of a party, like a 3-day festival with bunch of awesome bands, various workshops, tattoo sessions, etc.. number of visitors is limited to 300 so hurry up to reserve your "ticket" because as it seems hordes of crazy punks are preparing an invasion on Rijeka those days.. we wish them all the best and many more anniversaries like this one!!..

"The time has finally come to share some information about the already infamous 18th anniversary of Podrum . Well...what can we say, here we are at last, even if it took a while... 
Scoundrels, scamps, vagabonds and outcasts of all kinds can finally be at peace and start marching towards our subterranean concrete jungle, whilst the locals have decided to hide in their underground shelters during those three fateful days.

Anyway, enough of the imagined and extravagant hyperboles! The fact is that our not-so-little lair AKA Podrum is coming of age! Since the spring of 2008, stormy winds and wild waters have catapulted the space and the crew gathered around it to this very moment which we can truly be proud of the past 18 years of our semi-organized chaos, noise, shenanigans, DIY abominations and attempts to create a truly autonomous space.  

Also, it's important to note that none of the above would have been possible without various people who participated in the process, contributed to the space or in any way supported what we do. So, shout out to all of you! 
For this reason, we will celebrate those 18 years in the only fitting manner. Or to be precise - there will be 22 bands performing on 2 floors in 3 days(!), a tattoo session lasting two days (a walk-in option will be possible, but it is necessary to contact the tattoo artist for larger tattoos), live screen printing, workshops, lectures/discussions, a poet slam and circus performances.
Sounds too much? Well, what can we do?! Nothing, but to indulge in the bacchanalia which are to come! 
Very important notice! Due to the space limitations, we have decided to limit the number of visitors to a maximum of 300 people at a time. Therefore, please be understanding and patient when entering, as this is still a DIY event. Take care of each other!
