STRAHOTA - Milost/Neka gori patrijarhat/Bezimena - rehearsal video
...and just to conclude on the previous post and my nostalgia toward pž.. the other day I remembered our countless super interesting and most of the times pretty drunk trips to city of Požega, damn I sometimes miss those times and their little but big and specific hc punk scene, there were numerous crust/hc/punk/metal bands but whose members mostly were the same few individuals.. unfortunately today is, I assume, everything death or at least "wounded" and inactive, similar as in all other parts of Croatia, I don't understand how hc punk scene, in such repressive and hard times for the whole world can be so quiet and passive, but okay this is not the theme here.. as about Požega, only old d.i.y. warrior Kktz is pushing it, but only with his solo projects, and I can say he don't mess up with it but really pushing it like hell, check the Olden Sonorities and Worship the Abyss for his current work..
anyhow as everything other from Požega is probably already represented here on blog, I dig out this extra rare and forgotten piece, project Strahota which unfortunately never really came up to life in full, but at least we have this short rehearsal video which was in that time really promising and I was expecting one more crust metal punk band in Slavonian sea of similar but great acts, but it never happened.. turn the volume up and enjoy..

Mi-Asma - The Dirtiest Game (War)
last few days I'm working on digitalizing of old tapes and other stuff released by Mentalna Smrt label (damn, this was already ten years ago, how?!) and felt strong nostalgia for bands from Požega, especially for Hellback and one with another I dig out this gem, an original and inspiration for Hellback's Najprljavija Igra (Život), song by Greek band Mi-Asma - The Dirtiest Game (War) published on awesome and legendary double comp. LP "VA - Bullshit Detector #4" from 1994 (on which, btw appeared Antitude, Gruuthaagy and Apatridi among others).. I don't know its exactly lyrics (to me it sounds like it's on Greek, actually I'm pretty sure in that and on the booklet or cover of LP there's English translation, can be seen in the end of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKBJ8suyILI , although hard to read) but I like how Hellback changed "war" in the title with "life", it makes it more heavy.. I can't decide which version is better to me, but one is sure, both are masterpieces.. enjoy..

MATRAK ATTAKK tour March/April 2022
they are back on the road, the most active d.i.y. band in this crazy fckd up world will be on tour, and it will be month and half long journey through Switzerland, Italy, France, Malta and the Balkans.. hope they will make it with this one without any bigger issues in those odd, crazy and repressive times..
the tour is almost booked, they still wait for some confirmations, check the poster and get in touch if you can help with some dates..
