and now something perfect for the end of the year, and possibly THE album of the year, debut LP record from Boston's thrash crusties Lifeless Dark, for current times appropriately named "Forces Of Nature's Transformations".. probably one of the most anticipated releases lately in crust circles because we didn't heard any new stuff after amazing "Who Will Be The Victims?" demo from 2018 with which they raise quite a bit of dust and although they were active live with gigs in the US, but I believe what everyone was expecting was this new material.. and now it's finally here, record is out as 12" vinyl in limited version on clear or in regular black color on Side Two Records or if you prefer listening your noise from the tape this is also available in form of good old cassettes on the same label..
Was it worth all the waiting? - you may ask, well of course it was because we have here one of the mightiest albums in a while.. on the first listen to me sound is somehow tough and strange, for example Radiation Sickness from the demo maybe sounds better but immediately it's clear that we get another amazing album and I'm sure that after couple of listens more, all will sit on its place and one day this record will become one more metal/punk classic.. considering the fact that I'm a complete sucker for this band and since I first heard the demo even slightly obsessed with them, haha, I'm maybe not the most objective in this case so you can easily better check for yourself because the whole thing is already available for stream on YT and BC.. and also, here's what the label says about it:
Ten tracks that oscillate between ambitious progressive structures and stripped-down chaotic ferocity, Forces of Nature's Transformation captures the collapse of 21st-century empires in stark, unrelenting detail. This album is entirely self-produced by the band; recording (mixing/mastering) and artwork (original woodcuts).
Now available on 12” vinyl, cassette and digital via Side Two Records, Forces of Nature's Transformation is both a continuation and evolution of LIFELESS DARK's vision—a soundtrack for the inevitable unraveling of the modern age.
100 copies on clear vinyl while supplies last - first come first serve (can not guarantee)"
if you are from the States support the band and label and buy this while it last and the rest of us here can only wait if few copies will reach the Europe ground or whatever continent which you are living on.. until then we will break the damn internet with countless "views" or streams of this future masterpiece, I'm sure..
